Credit card fraud is paying
The Ukrainian law enforcement detained an Internet con artist who allegedly created quite an efficient scheme of covering his tracks and stole quite a sum out of the EU and US citizens.
The hacker has been saving up the sum for 2 years. Starting from 2003, he transferred funds from the compromised credit cards to his own account.
He withdrew money in other banks using a forged passport. Then he put up money in realty and cars. The hacker managed to “raise” about $300,000.
