Training in computer forensics

The time it takes law enforcement to crack computer-related crimes will be significantly reduced now that local officers are being trained in computer forensics.

A group of 15 officers from across the Upper Peninsula are undergoing hands-on training in computer forensics at Bay College’s M-TEC Center in Escanaba. They’re learning how to assemble computers and retrieve evidence from seized computers for purposes of investigation and prosecution.
