Kaspersky releases mobile antivirus

Kaspersky Lab has released a beta version of mobile antivirus software for smart phones using the Symbian OS, it announced this week.

The company said its software is equipped to blocked suspect SMS (Short Message Service) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) messages. The product uses a so-called “blacklist” to compare messages and block spam.
